One strand of delicate sterling silver wire is meticulously handwoven together, then pulled through a wooden drawplate until the desired width is achieved. In this case, the bracelet diameter is approximately 6mm. The drawplate process creates a sturdy, intricate bracelet, which is then oxidized and polished to highlight the incredible detail. Creamy Grade AA pearls - about 9mm each - complete each end.

I use seven loops during the weaving process, which creates a denser, tighter weave than is typically seen. The weave, once drawn through the drawplate has a remarkably silky, fluid feel to it. Each bracelet uses between 18 and 20 feet of sterling wire.

A handforged sterling clasp ensures a secure closure. The bracelet measures approximately 8 inches in length, including the clasp.
