Textured Sterling Oval & Amethyst Briolette Charm Earring

A hand-forged sterling silver oval has been hammered to add texture, in this case a light hatchmark on the bottom portion of the oval. (The top portion remains lightly hammered to soften and flatten, but is not textured.) The sterling oval is approximately 3/4 of an inch long and just under 1/2 inch wide. Since each piece is completely made by me in my studio, these measurements will vary slightly.

A Grade A amethyst briolette in the deepest, lushest purple dangles from the oval and is finished with my signature "wonky wrap." The amethyst measures approximately 9 x 9mm. Including the handforged sterling earwire, this earrings measures approximately 2 inches in overall length.

All metals are sterling silver. All components are made by me in my California studio.
