As Seen On The Vampire Diaries - Garnet & Gold Double Strand Necklace

This necklace, which creates the illusion of a double stranded necklace, was designed with the CW hit show "The Vampire Diaries" in mind. I am thrilled to have designed & created a piece of jewelry that was selected by the Stylist for Season Five of this series. (Worn by Elena on Episode Three, "Original Sin.")

Deep burgundy-red faceted garnet rondelles, each measuring about 4mm, are linked with 14K Gold Filled wire between short strands of delicate 14K Gold Filled chain. This shorter strand measures approximately 17 inches in length and is designed to rest below the collarbone. The second strand measures about 19 inches in length, and is made of a lovely flattened cable link chain in 14K Gold Fill, with a gorgeous garnet briolette drop at the center. The longer chain drops down beneath the linked garnets, creating a delicate layered look.

The entire necklace is adjustable by approximately two inches, which adds flexibility and ensures that it is suited for a variety of necklines.
