Pink Pearl Toggle Necklace with Nest Pendant

Approximately 17 inches of Grade A, pink freshwater pearls (each about 5mm in size) are strung securely on beading wire and finished in the front with a toggle clasp. The clasp, handforged by me in my studio, has been hammered, oxidized and highly polished. A trio of pink pearls, approximately 5mm each in size, are held safely and snuggly in a nest of oxidized sterling silver wire and dangle from the sterling toggle clasp.

Our nests are lovingly handcrafted with careful attention paid to the durability and integrity of each piece. Each nest is made from over three feet of sterling wire, which has been oxidized and hand polished to bring out the depth, texture and intricacy of each nest.

Built for strength, protection and endurance, birds' nests have long been symbolic of home and a mother's love. Delicate but strong, nests have the ability to withstand even the strongest of storms.

A storycard is included with each purchase, and your jewelry will arrive in a cotton lined box perfect for storing your new treasure or ready for any gift-giving occasion.

Because each piece is created for you when ordered, I am happy to accommodate requests for shorter or longer strands of pearls at no additional charge. If your preferred length varies more than two inches from the stated length (17 inches), please contact me for an adjusted price.
