Chain of Pearls Necklace - Peach Freshwater Pearls linked with Sterling Silver, Medium Strand (20")

I absolutely love freshwater pearls, and I adore how contemporary they look when linked together with sterling silver wire. Called a "rosary link," this method of creating a chain of pearls uses fine gauge sterling silver wire (which I've oxidized to bring out the detail and create depth & texture) wrapped into tiny loops to securely attach one freshwater pearl to the next. Each pearl is approximately 4mm, and a lovely pale peach color.

Overall, the necklace measures approximately 20 inches, and is finished with a handforged sterling S-Hook clasp. This is a nice length, as it can be worn over a higher necklace, or on bare skin. As well, the clasp can be worn in front (as shown in the third image), or worn with the clasp off to the side. What a great necklace to go from office to evening to a special weekend getaway! (Consider adding a lovely insignia charm for a really pretty finish!)
